Metro Centre Buys Part 1 - Clothes and Jewellery

Sorry for the delay in getting this up I had a pretty full on shopping trip yesterday and it has left me pretty drained and very, very sore - I am going to try and get the second part - cosmetics etc. up later but I will see how I feel - oh the joys of ME.

Anyways happier things - shopping! To be honest I was a bit blah about a lot of the clothes in store yesterday either the dregs of the spring / summer or the start of the autumn / winter lines - nothing really caught me eye that much. I love my cardis and my jumpers though so that may change as the weather gets colder (I say when it is flinging it down with rain here today!)So I only picked up a few clothes bits. I started off in Primark which was a nightmare - I normally try to avoid Primark when the kids are off school but as needs must. I got a few vest tops in black, white and purple -they are seamfree and are made of a fab slinky type fabric which will be great for layering - the black one is definitely coming away with me for under a dress that displays a little too much boobage lol. I also picked up a few swimwear and beach wear bits from the sales racks - I gorgeous black chiffon kaftan with sequin detailing for only £2, and a pair of striped bikini pants to go with an existing tankini (long story) for £1.00. I also got some lovely and cosy cream sleep socks for £1.47. I also got some gorgeous underwear sets which are really pretty and they are available in a D Cup and above - thanks for listening Primark. My biggest haul in Primark though was jewellery - I love Primarks fashion jewellery its always really reasonable and pretty on trend.
First of all I got this super chunky gold bead necklace - this is really similar to a necklace, and some bracelets that I already have from Top Shop and Dorothy Perkins -this was great value at only £1.96

I am also starting operation earring love at the moment - I am really getting back into big dangly earrings and Primark is certainly the right place for these at the moment.
I picked up these ones which are very like the ones my mum bought me from Superdrug only they are silver tone - sorry the pic isn't the best but they are so sparkly for only £1.47

I also got these pretty earrings also from Primark - a sort of gunmetal hoop in a fish hook fitting with gunmetal, purple and pink discs hanging from them - they were only £1.47

Finally I got these brass filigree teardrops - a steal at only 98p

Then I went to H&M - I have to admit I wasn't that impressed by too much of the clothing but I managed to pick up this lovely grey batwing sleeve slouchy jumper - perfect with skinny jeans

I also got another pair of earrings in H&M - these are soooo pretty - filigree again in a silvertone and black with a flower and leaf pattern

I also picked up another few pairs of earrings whilst I was out - I bought these two wooden pairs from Claires - I am planning on wearing these with my green Wallis dress with tan accessories

and this gorgeous pair from True Spirit at Superdrug

I have a little video on You Tube where I took about my jewellery bits in more detail so don't forget to watch and rate x
I'll try and do my cosmetics purchases later but if I don't I'll definitely see you tomorrow x

I love that batwing top. I had to stop for a minute because it took me back to a few years ago when I used to live in vest tops and batwing tops, knee high boots and skinny jeans! I miss those days!!

Will watch ur vid soon. Re did mine tonight and it is uploading now - was 9 mins 40 something so just under! Hope it works, if not I'll feel so fed up with it :(

  4. WOW, great shopping spree. I love the metro centre, but I avoid Primark even if the kids are at school, that store drives me mad!
I agree clothes shopping isn't fun at the mo, nothing is catching my eye either.

  5. @ GWTGT - yeah that was and probably still is my staple winter look lol - maybe its something to do with living up north but I always have the urge to wrap up warm brr

@Kaye - I know I was so disappointed with what I saw - lets hope its gets better as they start getting more autumn winter stock in - then again I hope they don't shouldn't really be spending any money whoops
