My First Illamasqua Purchases

Well I got there in the end after watching several fabulous vids and drooling over several blog posts from the fabulous MizzWorthy I decided to pop my Illamasqua cherry, and do you know what I am so glad I did.

I decided to just order a couple of bits to try - first of all I got the much talked about powder blush in Katie. Oh wow - this is so, so pretty - pink blush has always scared me but this gives such a fresh, pretty look - my mum even remarked how healthy I looked. It's super, super pigmented and you only need a tiny , tiny bit :)

I also order the powder eyeshadow in Feline - This again is very pigmented and is a super smooth consistency -It is a gorgeous dove grey shade which is so pretty, and super wearable

All in all I am super happy with my first Illamasqua experience especially since I also had some fab Sirens postcards, and a Spring / Summer catalogue full of lovely product pictures included with my order - more Illamasqua? bring it on :)

    Yay you got Katie! So gorgeous isn't it? It looks more peachy in your pics, looks true to life on your hand though :) Feline looks yummy, I've got Echo which is a shade lighter than that and lovely for a light eye with flicks. What are you planning to buy next? ;)

    @ Lisa - yes the camera seems to have washed it out a bit - the lighting here is awful - nearly dark before 9pm :( -I don't know really - there are a few shadows I fancy and Sob cream blush maybe some lippys, and I love the liquid metals eventhough I wouldn't have a clue what to do with them, oh and I definitely want the liner sealer :)

    Yes everyone needs it! I'm after Sob cream blush too Lou, also lipsticks in Liar and Brink, the pink pressed powder (already have the loose but want pressed to chuck in my bag) and still love the look of Phallic and Baptiste polishes. I'm sure I'd want loads more if I saw everything in the flesh though :P
