2true Twist 'n' Line Eye Definer Review

As you know I was sent a huge batch of 2true goodies by the lovely people at Superdrug. They kindly sent me so much stuff it is taking me a while to review them all. One of the items they sent me was the 2true Twist 'n' Line Eye Definer Review in No.3 Adriatic Blue. These are very similar to the MAC technakhols - with a twist up pencil 'lead' encased in a plastic pencil complete with lid

The colour they sent me was Adriatic Blue is a lovely electric blue shade

I love the idea of this product but to be honest in reality I wasn't that impressed -I didn't find this overtly pigmented or soft to apply - I found that you had to press quite hard to achieve a real depth of colour which is why I didn't feel I could use it on my waterline

I love the idea of these - nothing to sharpen, all encased, clean and tidy but the formulation for me isn't the best - it isn't creamy enough for me which is a major failing. Obviously this comes in other colours so it may be a colour issue so I will definitely consider trying a black maybe. These like the majority of 2true products are only £1.91 each so to be honest they probably are worth a try in comparison to say £12 for a MAC Technakohl liner - If anyone has tried the Technakohl's please let me know xx Any questions please ask xx

  2. I have used No.12 which is a bright yellow/green. I found this one to be fairly soft and it had better pigmentation than I expected. I used it in a FOTD that I will eventually get round to posting. The GOSH twist liners are very similar to these and I haven't been disappointed with any of those that I've tried.

Glad to have you back hun... missed your posts!

@loveaudrey - thanks hun - I do find that with liners sometimes - different colours have different textures etc. I will definitely try some of the other colours - I never knew GOSH did these I will check them out too - Thanks for the nice comments xxx

  5. I have a rimmel waterproof number in black which is ok but not really soft enough to get that soft line. Plus I fins as you can't sharpen it you can't really do a flick at the outer corner. I love my gel liners so much I tend to reach for them first.
Shame they are the best as the price certainly is! I just blogged about a 2 True lippy that I adore.
