Top Shop Make Up Haul

This week saw the launch of Top Shop's new make up range - I vaguely remember Top Shop selling make up years and years ago but this is a brand new spanking range. It launched online on Wednesday and I placed a little order :)
Photobucket
As well as my items I got a free cotton tote bag, and a free make up bag in a putty coloured leatherette which is actually surprisingly good quality :) On to the items -apologies in advance that I haven't had time to swatch everything :)The first couple of products I got come from the spring / summer collection including the Sunbeam highlighter
Photobucket
Not dissimilar to the Boots No7 one this is perhaps slightly more golden - it comes boxed in a cream compact with a gold star design :) very pretty
Photobucket
I also picked up the limited edition eye crayon in Sun Shower
Photobucket
This comes in gorgeous gold packaging and is a gorgeous gold in colour and its consistency and design is very like the MAC shadesticks
Photobucket
The other limited edition product I got was a gorgeous grey nail colour in Cloud which comes in an 8ml bottle. I also got another nail polish from the range a gorgeous pink / beige Nice'N'Neutral
Photobucket
I also picked up a few more products from the core range including two eyeshadow duos - again in the cute creamy, white packaging
Photobucket
Left - Rocky Road - a shimmery pale pink, and a pink / brown and Right - Midnight in Paris - a creamy white and a very dark charcoal grey
Photobucket
These are surprisingly soft and pigmented - I can't wait to have a play.
I also picked up an eyeshadow crayon in Satchel
Photobucket
These are are glittery eyeshadow pencils and this one is a dark brown colour.
Photobucket
I also picked up a couple of lip products - the much talked about Nude lipstick in Desert
Photobucket
Photobucket
and a lip glaze in Antique a nice neutral pink that smells exactly like a MAC lipglass
Photobucket
I also ordered a blusher in Flush a lovely pink /coral shade
Photobucket
I have to say the blush swatches weren't that great online I went into a Top Shop store yesterday and saw the range in the flesh - there I fell in love with two colours that I hadn't given a second glance to online
Photobucket
Left -Butterscotch - a lovely shimmery nude and Right - Nutmeg a nice neutral rose pink
Photobucket
Again these blushes have a lovely texture and are really pigmented.I also love the fact that the compacts have mirrors in them.
I was strange seeing things in the flesh again I ended up buying something I hadn't really took any notice of online. This time it was the limited edition eyeshadow trio in Moon Dust
Photobucket
This is a lovely trio of baked eyeshadows that can be used wet or dry. The trio contains a silvery grey, a pink and a purple/plum/charcoal - these are quite glittery but they are so pretty.
I also got another nail polish which I forgot to photograph in Carry On Camping a lovely teal green shade. All in all I have to say I'm pretty pleased with the bits I got, the quality seems ok and I love the packaging - I can't wait to see what comes out with the up and coming LE collections. You can but it from selected Top Shop stores or online If anyone wants any swatches etc please let me know and I'll do my best to do them for you.x

  5. great haul! I do remember precisely, that in 1998 - first time I've been to the UK - Topshop used to sell makeup! I still use their glitter pots for my pigments, and I remember buying the most gorgeous nail polishes that no one had ever seen in Italy. Back then, Topshop was cheap....

anyway, I will definitely grab some pieces next time I'm in London!!!
