Making The Best Of What I've Got - Nails Of The Day and A Purchase x

As I said in my last nails of the day post I'm not happy with nails at all at the moment, their dry, breaking at every opportunity and they are so so short, I may be getting something for my birthday which may help with that but in the meantime we're stuck with them.

What better way to cheer my little stumps up than with a pretty nail polish. Purple Poppy from Models Own is gorgeous deep fuchsia toned purple, it's the grown up purple toned sister of Essie - Splash Of Grenadine :) With careful application you could get away with just one coat but as per usual I've gone for two x

Pretty isn't it :) and so is the ring - I bought the gold tone one a little while ago from UK ebay but I later found out I could have got the gold and the silver from Hong Kong ebay for just 99p including postage!!
