Cleansing With Ketchup ? No Not Really - Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin Daily Clarifying Cleanser - A Review For My Pure

If your a regular reader of LouLouLand and in particular of my reviews for natural beauty site My Pure, you'll know that last month I had a major love in with two products from the Yes To range (click here to read my ramblings x). I was so impressed with the range that I decided to pick another two products from the brand for my June reviews.

Alas nothing ever goes to plan and I had a bit of a reaction to the Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin Clearing Facial Mask. It's not a bad product by any means but my skin just reacted to it, these things can happen with any product, what's fine for me may not be fine for you and vice versa so it's always important that you do a patch test before you use any new product. So this month I'll only be reviewing one product for My Pure and that is also a product from the Yes To Tomatoes line.

The Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin Daily Clarifying Cleanser is designed specifically for oily / combination skin. It contains Lycopene an extract which is found in red fruit and vegetables including tomatoes which is an anti-oxidant and has anti-inflammatory properties which balances the skin and reduces oil production. It also contains Watermelon extract which helps to cleanse, exfoliate and balance the skin, and Aloe Vera to soothe and moisturise.

Packaged in a squeezy tube, this is a facial wash type cleanser. It is clear in appearance and has quite a runny gel like texture.

It has exactly the same soft powdery fruity / floral smell that the Yes To Tomatoes Purifying Shower Gel has. When you add water it produces a soft, light gentle foam despite the absence of SLS and SLES.

I have to say I really like this cleanser, my skin is oily / combination and it's responded really well to this product. It rinses away easily and it left my skin feel super clean and soft. I've been using it once a day for about 4 weeks and I have definitely seen an improvement in my skin, and I've definitely had less breakouts than I normally would have done. If like me you have oily / combination skin I would definitely recommend that you give this product a go - it's definitely gone into my top 5 face washes of all time :) If you have a drier skin though this definitely isn't a product for you, I think it could potentially be a bit drying if your skin is already prone to dry or flaky patches, so no Jasper I'm afraid this face wash isn't for you and your flaky patches and long fur  ;)
