Speckled Pink - Nails Of The Day

I'm all about the sprinkles and the sparkle at the moment so I thought I'd show you another one of my polishes from the Maybelline Color Show Polka Dots line. I got two of these colours for my birthday, I've already shown you 198 - Shooting Stars (see my post here) and this is the other shade, that I wore to the recent North East Bloggers Social (you can read all about it here x)

201 - Speckled Pink, contains the same different shaped and sized black and white sprinkles, but this time in a pink jelly base. It looks a lot more purple in the bottle but it actually looks like a more bubblegum shade on the nails. Again I think that this polish would be better layered over another colour, as it took 3 coats here to achieve this level of coverage.

I do think that this type of finish looks better on longer nails but unfortunately that's something that I don't have at the moment. I'm still pretty pleased with the effect though and whilst the wear isn't amazing, these sprinkle and graffiti polishes are certainly a talking point x Are you a fan of the sprinkle look? let me know in the comments x
