Trimming My Stash - November Empties And Mini Reviews x

Hi Guys x Happy December x It's official we're now in the last month of the year - scary isn't where does time go - I'm sure it didn't go this quickly when I was a child, years seemed to go on forever and the wait for Christmas seemed to go on for ever! A definite sign I'm getting old lol Anyways it's that time again when I show what beauty products I've managed to finish in November...

MUA Power Pout - Irreplaceable
Alpha H Liquid Gold - 100ml
House Of Holland Have A Good Rub With This Body Scrub - Citrus Bliss Body Scrub - 200ml
The Body Shop Divine Calm Sublime Body Lotion - 200ml
Gorgeous By Gok Body Polish With Almond Oil - 180ml
Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio EDT - 50ml
L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 In 1 Purifying Micellar Solution -200ml
Total - 7 Items

Yeah I finished just 7 items. I'm pretty disappointed because I'm so close to finishing at least another 3 items, a few more days and they would have been done. Never mind more items to add to next months total I guess. I'm pleased with some of the items that I've finished, and less so with some of the others as you will see - I miss you MUA - Irreplaceable :(

1. MUA Power Pout - Irreplaceable

Sad times :( I went to take the cap of and the bullet and the lip crayon itself fell flat onto the cat hair covered floor. I last used it on holiday and I think it must have melted a bit hence its snap and demise :( You can read a full review of it here but I will definitely buy another one when I've used up a similar shade I already own from Ted Baker.

2. Alpha H Liquid Gold - 100ml

Ah I love this stuff, I think it's one of the major reasons why my skin has cleared up over the last few years. I normally use a bottle up and then leave it for a month or so before restarting. My pores are definitely less obvious, blemishes clear up quicker when they appear, and the spots of sun related pigmentation that I have lessened. I'm going to try out the Clarins Exfoliating Toner to compare, so I'll let you know how I get on, but I can definitely see the Alpha H love in continuing.

3. House Of Holland Have A Good Rub With This Body Scrub - Citrus Bliss Body Scrub - 200ml

Despite it's long name this was the best of the House Of Holland beauty products that I picked up at Boots last Christmas. Like the rest of the products in the kit it has a zesty almost citrus aroma, which a tiny herbal note, coriander maybe? This was a lovely salty scrub which left the skin soft and smooth. There doesn't seem to be a House Of Holland collection this year which is a shame, as I would definitely have bought this again.

4. The Body Shop Divine Calm Sublime Body Lotion - 200ml

This was a lovely lavender and chamomile smelling body lotion. Alas it's been discontinued but it was nice and ideal before bedtime x

5. Gorgeous By Gok Body Polish With Almond Oil - 180ml

Another body scrub from a Christmas kit and my opinion couldn't be more different. The was full of tiny exfoliating pieces so it didn't give that great a scrub but I guess I could live with that, what I couldn't stand though was the smell. I HATE Marzipan or anything that smells remotely like it and this reeked of marzipan, at least the smell didn't linger on the skin so I managed to use it up. If it had been a body cream though it would have been in the bin!

6. Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio EDT - 50ml

Another bottle gone forever. Possibly my favourite fragrance of all time replaced by the awful and inferior Acqua Di Gioa. I've worn this since I was a teenager - an amazing smell that reminds me of some amazing times in my life. I have a few bottles carefully stored so I can enjoy it for a little longer.

7. L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 In 1 Purifying Micellar Solution -200ml

Yes another bottle down x Still liking this for tired cleansing and for eye make up removal. You can read a full review of it here x

Again I'm hoping that I can finish the year on high with a nice amount of empties by this time next month, and with 3 just about there I should have a good start. Do you do any empties blog leave me a link below xx
